MANAGING DIRECTOR, SAVE WATER - GIVE LIFE FOUNDATION
"Like many others I have experienced immense levels of hardships at every turn in my life and career. I believe those are opportunities for us to grow, I believe that they are God’s proving ground. I view those hardships through the biblical perspective: “Though they meant it for evil, God meant it for good.” I was told by my college business professor that I would only ever amount to being a used car salesman; but instead of letting that defeat me, I used that to fuel my desire for success. I moved to Dallas, Texas on a dream, and thirty years later I stood in front of that same business school to have the auditorium named after me."
Growing up in the South with limited resources, Mike Mason was fortunate to have parents whose wisdom extended beyond their own formal education and life experiences. They instilled in him a limitless mindset, encouraging growth in faith, education, and success. He embraced their relentless belief that "you can do anything you put your mind and faith to."
Through founding several small businesses during his youth – Mason's Janitorial, Mason's Moving, and Mason Apartment Management and Locator – Mike gained invaluable lessons in successful growth, both firsthand and through observation. As a janitor, his close proximity to the inner workings of businesses, often unseen and unnoticed, offered him a unique perspective. He took every experience to heart.
Mike was particularly inspired by family-run businesses where everyone worked and spent time together. This sense of unity fueled his desire for a large family and a multi-generational family business. He envisioned an organization that kept his family close, fostering a lifelong journey of shared growth.
His dream extended beyond himself. He desired a beautiful southern wife, three sons, and a business built upon shared values of faith, family, and work. This dream evolved to encompass not just his own family, but also the families who joined his endeavors, entrusting their professional lives and dreams for future generations to him. This commitment significantly impacted his life.
Witnessing the devastation a failing family business could inflict on a family during his consulting work further fueled his passion. He found inspiration in the renewed unity and blessings these families experienced upon achieving success. This experience solidified his role as a champion for those seeking a second chance, driven by his lifelong underdog mentality.

Romans 12:1-8
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

Often the young men I’m mentoring will say, "Mr. Mason, I want to be just like you and have your life when I’m 60." After I think back on the journey to now I ask, “Are you willing to endure, persevere and sacrifice to the level required to get here?" I can tell you that most are not.
I would not change where we are now for anything, and I’m so humbled to know from where we came to where we are I can't stop thanking God, my parents, my wife and kids.
Candidly, there are others that stand out in my journey who sacrificed so much, people like Bill Savelle, Brodie Bruner, Darryl Halbert, Don Cooper, Nathan H. and others. Spanning 30 years of partnership, friendship and joint sacrifice.
